HOSPITALITY WORKSHOPS
With an aim to make Asia Vegan-Friendly, we have partnered with the Animal Climate and Health Save Foundation and Thrive Philanthropy to bring hands-on workshops to various countries in Asia teaching the Plant-based Hospitality Curriculum.
Udaipur, India
We recently organized three workshops in Udaipur, benefiting over 325 students and chefs.
Each workshop participant received insightful training, a copy of the curriculum, an international level certificate, and plant-based meals—all completely free of charge. The workshops were met with enthusiastic participation, highlighting the growing interest in sustainable culinary practices.

Our team also visited Choki Traditional Art School, where the school took the Plant-Based Treaty pledge, and we spent valuable time with their students. We are truly grateful to our coordinator for these workshops and our on-the-ground team: Tsthem, Laxmi, Jigme, and countless others who helped make the workshops in Bhutan a success
Ahmedabad, India
We hosted five empowering and successful workshops in Ahmedabad, India from July 10-13, 2024. We collaborated with hotels and institutions in Gujarat to equip 60 chefs and industry professionals, and 280 hospitality and culinary students with essentials of vegan-friendly practices free of cost.
July 10: We hosted two workshops at Gujarat University and MTAC International Culinary School.
July 11: A workshop dedicated to Chef and Hotel Owners were hosted in the Hotel Mani Mansion.
July 12: Workshop at the International Institute of Hotel Management, Ahmedabad.
July 13: Workshop at Vivekanand Institute of Hotel Management.
These workshops would not have been possible without the coordination of the esteemed institutions mentioned and our local team: Dhairya, Singh Ji from VegVoyages Foundation, Aprajita and Jaya from the Animal Climate and Health Save Foundation, as well as our amazing volunteers.
We hosted a press conference at Hotel Mani Mansion and were delighted by the positive reception from the media.
